Pins & Needles is an Independent Dress Fabric and Knitting Wool shop not far from Edinburgh’s city centre.

We have been trading in the Tollcross area for 19 years, selling dress fabrics, knitting wools and haberdashery - and now we have decided to go worldwide!

We are the LARGEST stockists in Edinburgh for Stylecraft wool, stocking from 2ply for baby shawls to mega chunky for warm scarves - and of course you can’t have wool without having knitting patterns.

We also have a wide variety of dress and bridal fabrics available either in stock or by special order, and of course sewing patterns and all the trimmings needed to complete your look.

If you are thinking of getting married we can create an exclusive Wedding package tailored to suit your individual requirements.

Whether you know what you want or only have the beginnings of an idea we will design and make something truly memorable for this special day.

The Pins & Needles Wedding Show! You may have seen us exhibiting at "Ingliston Wedding Show" and this weekend at "The Assembly Rooms"-soon we will be holding a smaller and more personal wedding show and this will include sample Wedding Dresses to hopefully give you ideas for your big day, as well as Bridal Accessories, samples and Wedding bouquets, all under one roof! so watch this space.
